About
Hi, and thanks for visiting my blog! I’m a college student majoring in philosophy and planning to go to law school. If you don’t want to call me Imperial Leader, you can call me Victoria, my other online name. Why Imperial Leader, you may ask? I know it sounds kind of pompous, but believe it or not I started calling myself this when I was little and would pretend to be the ruler of an imaginary world. It has stuck, and I think it sounds cool, even though it is a little weird! Why Victoria? I have always loved this name, even though it’s not my real name, so I decided to use it as my online identity.

In my spare time, I enjoy collecting things, reading, writing, watching the news, following the Red Sox, drawing, and taking pictures. My collections include Beanie Babies, Pokemon cards, Breyer horses, toy soldiers, dolls, stamps, and coins, among other things. I enjoy following politics and high-profile trials and have attended and blogged about the trials of Alexander Pring-Wilson, Neil Entwistle, and Clark Rockefeller. I’m also very interested in history and useless trivia, which you can learn more about at my other site, Imperial Kingdom.
This blog is where I report on and express my opinions on current events, especially those having to do with law and politics. I started blogging when I was in high school, and the posts from back then are still here in the archives. Since then, I think I’ve gotten a lot better at choosing meaningful topics and supporting my opinions with arguments and evidence.
For the most part, my views tend to be a mix of conservative and libertarian. I am opposed to gun control, the progressive income tax system, big government spending, uncontrolled population growth, gay marriage, sexism, ageism, paternalism, mandatory health insurance, screenings, and vaccinations, excessive security measures, and basically anything else that restricts people’s freedom. I believe in patriotism, individualism, responsibility for one’s own actions, and liberty for people to do whatever they choose to, as long as it doesn’t violate the rights of anyone else.
